It pairs Fuji's 2-stage, 5 psi DIY-PRO turbine in a rugged metal case with a non-bleed M-Model 7002G gravity-feed gun and a 400 mL aluminum gravity cup, for a soft, even spray with very little overspray. It's a great first sprayer for DIYers and furniture refinishers, and a handy fine-finish tool for painters and small shops.
Key Features & Benefits
- 2-stage DIY-PRO turbine, about 5 psi in a metal case with a handy gun holder.
- Non-bleed M-Model 7002G gravity-feed gun: air flows only when you pull the trigger, with stainless steel needle and nozzle.
- 400 mL aluminum gravity cup so you can spray to the last drop on detailed work.
- Rear fan pattern control and air control valve to set the pattern and cut overspray and bounce-back.
- 1.3 mm air cap installed, with 0.8 to 2.0 mm 7020 caps available for other coatings.
- 24-month Fuji limited warranty for the original buyer.
Applications & Recommended Uses
Use the Semi-PRO 2 Gravity for furniture makeovers, interior doors, trim, mouldings, cabinets and craft projects. It sprays waterborne and solvent-based stains, lacquers, polyurethanes, varnishes and thinned paints. For walls, ceilings and exteriors, an airless paint sprayer is faster. Spraying often or using thicker coatings? Step up to the Mini-Mite 3 Platinum.

Why the Semi-PRO 2 Gravity
Pro-style spraying, simplified.
Turbine power
Where the Semi-PRO 2 fits.
Two stages are plenty for stains, lacquers, polyurethanes and thinned paints. Thicker coatings atomize more easily with more stages.
Pressure as listed by Fuji Spray. More stages build more pressure, so thicker coatings atomize with less thinning.

Painting walls or a whole house?
HVLP gives you control and little overspray, but it isn't fast on big surfaces. For walls, ceilings and exteriors, an airless paint sprayer is the better tool. For cabinets, pair your Semi-PRO 2 Gravity with Envirolak waterborne lacquer, which we tint and match in store.

FAQ
Semi-PRO 2 Gravity questions, answered.
Semi-PRO 2 or Semi-PRO 2 Gravity: which should I buy?
Both use the same 2-stage turbine. The Semi-PRO 2 has a bottom-feed gun with a 1 qt cup for fewer refills. The Semi-PRO 2 Gravity has a gravity gun with a 400 mL cup that's lighter in the hand and sprays to the last drop. Choose bottom feed for doors and big pieces, gravity for detailed work.
Semi-PRO 2 or Mini-Mite 3?
The Mini-Mite 3 Platinum steps up to 3 stages and 6.5 psi, Fuji's Platinum build and T-Series guns. Choose it if you spray often or use thicker coatings. For weekend projects with stains, lacquers and thinned paints, the Semi-PRO 2 does the job.
Can it spray latex paint?
Yes, usually thinned. A 2-stage turbine works best with thinner coatings, so check viscosity with the #4 Ford cup and thin only as the paint maker allows. A larger 7020 air cap, such as 1.8 or 2.0 mm, helps with thicker paints. Test on cardboard first.
Which air cap should I use?
The 1.3 mm cap that comes installed suits clear lacquer, varnish and polyurethane. Use a smaller cap for dyes and stains, and 1.8 to 2.0 mm for pigmented and waterborne paints. M-Model guns take 7020 caps.
What filter does it use?
The Semi-PRO 2 uses dual #4009-2 filters. Check them often and replace them when dirty to protect the motor.
Is it good for cabinets?
Yes, for a kitchen or two with the right coating and some practice. If you plan to spray cabinets often, a Platinum system like the Mini-Mite 4 handles thicker cabinet enamels with less thinning.
What warranty does it have?
Fuji Spray gives the original buyer a 24-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. See Fuji's warranty terms. Our Rockwood Village spray centre in Mississauga also services and repairs sprayers.
