Set-up
Hook it up and spray.
- 1Set it upPlace the turbine on a flat, clean surface away from your spray area, with the 7224-2 filters in place.
- 2Connect the hoseAttach your hose to the turbine and your gun to the hose.
- 3Strain and checkStrain the coating into the cup and check it with the #4 Ford cup. Thin only as the coating maker allows.
- 4Test on cardboardSet the fan and fluid flow until the pattern is even.
- 5SprayHold the gun square to the surface and overlap each pass by about half.
- 6Keep it breathingClean the gun right after spraying, and check the 7224-2 filters often. A clogged filter makes the turbine run hot.

Mini-Mite turbine questions, answered.
Does it come with a gun and hose?
No. This is the turbine only. Use the Fuji gun and hose you already have, or add a hose and a T75G, T70 or G-XPC gun. Starting from scratch? The complete Mini-Mite 3, Mini-Mite 4 and Mini-Mite 5 systems include both.
Mini-Mite 3, 4 or 5: which should I choose?
The Mini-Mite 3 is made for stains, lacquers, sealers and other thinner finishes. The Mini-Mite 4 handles lacquer, polyurethane and most waterborne cabinet coatings. The Mini-Mite 5 has the most pressure, about 9.5 psi, for cabinet enamels and primers with less thinning.
Which hose do I need?
For the Mini-Mite 3 or 4, a 7049 or 9049 Hi-Flex hose. For the Mini-Mite 5, the 7088 Heavy Duty or 7073 Super Duty hose.
I'm upgrading from a 2 or 3-stage turbine. Do I need a new hose?
The 7055 heat hose is recommended when you step up to a 4 or 5-stage turbine, because the air runs hotter. Or switch to the 7073 Super Duty hose, which has 3 ft of heat-resistant hose built in.
Which filter does it use?
Dual 7224-2 filters, the same on all three. Check them often and replace them when they're dirty.
What warranty does it have?
Fuji Spray gives the original buyer a 24-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. See Fuji's warranty terms, or contact us with questions.
