Set-up & use
From box to first coat.
- 1Set up the turbineOn a flat, clean surface away from your spray area, with the filters in place.
- 2Connect the hoseSnap the quick-connect onto the turbine and attach the gun.
- 3Strain and checkStrain the coating into the cup and check it with the #4 Ford cup. Thin only as the coating maker allows.
- 4Test on cardboardSet the fan and fluid flow until the pattern is even.
- 5SprayHold the gun square to the surface and overlap each pass by about half.
- 6Clean and checkClean the gun right after with the right cleaner. Check the filters often and replace when dirty.

Mini-Mite 3 questions, answered.
Mini-Mite 3 or Mini-Mite 4: which should I buy?
The Mini-Mite 4 adds a fourth stage (about 9 psi versus 6.5 psi) in a similar-size case. Choose the Mini-Mite 4 if you spray a lot of cabinet enamel, primer or other thicker waterborne coatings. For stain, lacquer, sealer and clear coats, the Mini-Mite 3 has the pressure you need and costs less.
Mini-Mite 3 or Semi-PRO 2?
The Semi-PRO 2 is Fuji's 2-stage, 5 psi DIY-PRO system with an M-Model gun. The Mini-Mite 3 steps up to 3 stages and 6.5 psi, Fuji's Platinum build and a choice of T-Series or G-XPC guns. Choose the Mini-Mite 3 if you spray often or want room to grow.
Which gun should I choose: T75G, T70 or G-XPC?
The T75G (600 mL gravity cup) suits most cabinet and furniture work. The T70 (1 L bottom-feed cup) means fewer refills on bigger jobs. The G-XPC (400 mL side-mount cup) gets into tight spots and small parts.
Can it spray waterborne paint and primer?
It sprays waterborne and solvent-based coatings, and it's happiest with thinner ones like stain, lacquer, sealer and polyurethane. Thicker waterborne paints and primers usually need thinning with a 3-stage turbine, so check viscosity with the #4 Ford cup and thin only as the coating maker allows. Fuji recommends a 2.0 mm air cap for waterborne paint and primer, sold separately as a 5100 air cap for T-Series guns. If you mostly spray thick paint, look at the Mini-Mite 4 or Mini-Mite 5.
What filter does it use?
The Mini-Mite 3 uses two #7224-2 filters, made for Mini-Mite Platinum turbines only. Check them often and replace them when dirty to protect the motor.
What comes in the box?
The turbine, your choice of gun and cup, a 25 ft Hi-Flex hose with quick-connect and air control valve, a #4 Ford viscosity cup, wrench, cleaning brush and manual.
What warranty does it have?
Fuji Spray gives the original buyer a 24-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. See Fuji's warranty terms. Our Rockwood Village spray centre in Mississauga also services and repairs sprayers.
