How to swap the cup
- Pick the cup. Choose the uncoated 2041 for most finishes, or the 2041T for corrosive water-based coatings.
- Empty the old cup. Pour out any coating and unscrew the cup from the 2042 lid.
- Screw on the new cup. Thread the cup onto the lid until it seats firmly on the gasket.
- Strain and fill. Strain the coating into the cup.
- Test for leaks. Spray a test pass and check the lid for leaks before you start the job.
- Clean after use. Empty, wipe and flush the cup with the right cleaner.

2041 cup questions, answered.
Which cup should I choose, 2041 or 2041T?
Choose the uncoated 2041 for most finishes. Choose the Teflon-coated 2041T for corrosive water-based coatings, and don't use it with nitrocellulose lacquer.
Will it fit my 2095 cup?
What's included?
The 1 qt cup body only. The lid, pressure tube and seals come with the 2042 assembly. The 2039 kit has 2042 wear parts.
How do I tell a 2042 from a 2095?
Fuji changed to the 2095 cup in fall 2019, and the two use different gaskets and parts. If you're not sure, send us a photo and we'll check.
Can I use the 2041T with lacquer?
Not with nitrocellulose lacquer. Use the uncoated 2041 instead.
