How to Use

  1. Check your air. Your compressor and lines need to deliver 11.5 cfm at the gun. Use clean, dry air.
  2. Connect the air. Fit your air fitting to the 1/4" inlet and run a 5/16" ID air hose.
  3. Fill the cup. Strain the base coat into the 600cc cup, or a 3M PPS 2.0 cup on the S15 adapter.
  4. Set the pressure. Set the pressure between 9 and 29 psi, as the coating maker directs.
  5. Test the pattern. Spray a test panel. Adjust the side-mounted fan control and the fluid knob until the pattern and metallic lay are even.
  6. Clean right away. Flush the gun with the right cleaner for your waterborne or solvent-based base.

FAQ

Valor H100 gun questions, answered.

What size compressor do I need?

Fuji lists the Valor H100 at 11.5 cfm of air, with an operating range of 9 to 29 psi. Check your compressor's rated cfm, not just its tank size. Not sure? Tell us your compressor and we'll check.

What is the Valor H100 made for?

Base coat. Fuji built it for automotive base coat and metallics, with waterborne or solvent-based paint, in high-production shops. For clear coat, Fuji makes the Valor M100. Planning something else? Ask us first.

Which air cap size does it come with?

It comes with a 1.4 mm air cap installed. Valor H100 air cap sets in 1.3, 1.4 and 1.7 mm are sold separately.

Can I use 3M PPS cups with it?

Yes. The Valor H100 works with the 3M PPS 2.0 cup system using the S15 adapter.

Which set-up should I order?

Choose the gun only if you already have a cup or use 3M PPS. Otherwise, pick it with a 600cc aluminum or 600cc nylon gravity cup. The Valor H100 is available online only, not in our stores.

What's the difference between the Valor H100 and the H-V8?

Both are Fuji HVLP gravity guns for base coat with a 1.4 mm air cap. The Valor H100 is lighter at 435 g and uses 11.5 cfm. The H-V8 weighs 521 g, uses 14.7 cfm at 28 psi and takes more air cap sizes, from 1.2 to 2.2 mm.

What warranty does it have?

Fuji Spray gives the original buyer a 24-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. See Fuji's warranty terms, or contact us with questions.

Can you service it for me?

Yes, once it's out of warranty. Our Rockwood Village spray centre in Mississauga repairs spray guns. Contact us to book it in. Still under Fuji's 24-month warranty? Contact Fuji Spray first, because repairs by anyone other than Fuji or its authorized agent void the warranty.
