How to
Set up and spray.
- 1Connect the hoseFit the 5487 2-in-1 fluid and air hose between the pot and your MPX-30 or LX-20 gun.
- 2Connect the airRun air from your compressor to the pot's 1/4" air inlet. Never exceed 60 PSI air supply.
- 3Fill the potStrain the coating into the pot and seal the lid.
- 4Set the pot pressureStart low and raise the pressure until the gun sprays a full, even pattern.
- 5Roll and sprayRoll the pot to where you're working and spray at any angle.
- 6Release and cleanRelease the air pressure before you open the lid, then flush the pot, hose and gun.

Is a hose included?
No. The fluid and air hose are sold separately. We recommend the 5487 25 ft 2-in-1 hose.
What's the maximum air pressure?
The maximum air supply pressure is 60 PSI (4.1 bar), and the safety valve is set to 60 PSI.
Does it have an agitator?
No. The 5470 is a non-ASME pot without an agitator.
Does it work with a Fuji turbine?
No. It needs an air compressor. Fuji 4 and 5-stage turbine owners can use the 5432 turbine pot.
What size are the fittings?
The air inlet is 1/4" NPS male and the fluid outlet is 3/8" NPS male.
