Changing sizes
Swap sizes in six steps.
- 1Clean the gun firstFlush it with the right cleaner and unhook the hose.
- 2Remove the collar and air capUnscrew the collar at the front of the gun and lift off the air cap.
- 3Pull the needleUnscrew the fluid control knob slowly so you don't lose the spring, squeeze the trigger and slide the needle out.
- 4Remove the nozzleUse the gun wrench to unscrew the fluid nozzle.
- 5Fit the new setInstall the new nozzle snugly with the wrench, then the needle, spring, knob, air cap and collar. On M-Model guns, always fit the cap, needle and nozzle from the same set.
- 6Test on cardboardCheck viscosity with the #4 Ford cup, then adjust the fan and fluid flow until the pattern is even.

Which Fuji guns do 7020 air caps fit?
Which size comes on my Semi-PRO 2 gun?
The Semi-PRO 2 and Semi-PRO 2 Gravity ship with a 1.3 mm set, the all-round size for most fine finishing.
Which size should I buy next?
Go smaller (0.8 or 1.0 mm) for thin, low-viscosity coatings. Go bigger (1.8 or 2.0 mm) for thicker coatings and larger surfaces. Your coating's #4 Ford cup time is the best guide.
Do I have to thin my coating?
Check it with the #4 Ford cup first. If it runs slower than the range for your cap, thin it only as the coating maker allows, or step up a cap size.
Is there a bundle?
Yes. The 7020 bundle includes the 1.0, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 mm sets and a carry case.
