Imagine your work is something you really love to do; something that is really interesting to you; something that fascinates you.
That’s what it’s like here at The Paint People. We are just really into paints, stains and industrial coatings. We like to test them, spend hours matching colours and solve all sorts of paint and stain challenges.
And, here’s the part where we pinch ourselves. That passion and enthusiasm we have for everything we do has rewarded us in ways we never imagined.
We started over 20 years ago as a local paint dealer here in Mississauga. Today we are one of the largest paint, stain and lacquer dealers in Ontario with three locations serving contractors, businesses and residential customers alike.
More than simply being carbon copies of each other, every one of our locations offers a different specialty to our customers.
Our very first location, the Cooksville store has always been the ‘go to’ paint store for contractors and it offers full in-house interior design services.
We opened our second store on Argentia Rd., as the location for our lacquer and industrial coating divisions. It’s the place for spray stains, lacquer matching and epoxy coatings
Our newest store has all the spray painting and staining equipment and supplies you need, whether you’re a contractor, a do-it-yourselfer or it’s your first time.
Our guiding philosophy has always been ‘customer first’. But that’s more than just giving you a stir stick with your can of paint. Our excitement for everything we do helps our customers get excited about what they are doing. And that usually means more satisfying and successful results.
We even run a series of workshops for all our customers, beginner to expert, to learn more about how they can improve their work, businesses and homes.
Of all the things we are grateful for, having a safe, healthy, vibrant community to live and work in is as important as any. And we want to do our part.
We support local youth soccer teams, including the Croatia Tigers Boys U12 team, and the Macedonian Falcons U10 team.
We love basketball!!! And that’s why we became official sponsorship partners for the Raptors 905 basketball team, an affiliate of the Toronto Raptors. Our customers love our ticket giveaways and getting to meet the players who they might one day see in the NBA!
We are especially proud to offer a great learning and working environment for university and college students in Interior Design programs.
We help out and donate to many local charities and community groups, including the Mississauga Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity and Victim Services for Peel.
