This powerful solution will soften or dissolve most oil-based coatings within 15 to 30 minutes. To keep the wood surface wet during this process, lightly mist it with additional solution as needed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter 15 to 30 minutes, scrub the surface thoroughly using a non-metallic bristle brush or a long-handled push broom. Rinse the area completely with clean water using a garden hose equipped with a spray attachment. Avoid using a pressure washer, as it is not recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor optimal results and perfect preparation for Penofin wood finishes, follow up with Pro-Tech Cleaner #2 and Pro-Tech Brightener #3. Please note that Penofin Pro-Tech Stripper #1 is not effective at removing water-based or resin-based coatings.
